A lesson for the Gray News

No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit.

  • hope springs eternal...but I think I agree. At least as long as the current Directors and the current staff are running it.

  • Isn't there some way to 'wake up' these people?? There should be some Policy in place at the GN to prohibit the current Directors and the current staff from fabricating such garbage!!! None of them appear to have any 'professionalism'..but why am I not surprised!

  • From the Press Herald article in 200, Ray clark is quoted as saying:

"Clark said he ran for the commission because he wanted to serve the community. He said no one on the newspaper's 11-member board of directors is concerned about any conflict of interest. In fact, two of them are on the commission."

So three members of the Gray News found no problem being part of the news and simultaneously reporting on themselves. Sad, sad. So, I hold little hope that the Directors will be influenced, but lots of hope that their unethical doings will mean the paper goes down the tubes.

  • It's only a matter-of-time before the Gray News 'goes down the tubes'!! Their bad reputation is 'catching up' with them; and their downfall will be eminent!
