Nathan Tsukroff is a quitter
He quits things. How can he be a good reporter when he goes in fits and starts? He'd just get up to speed but then leave...always starting over. He said he was a resident of 48 states, moving around a lot. He used to work for The Monument but quit. He used to work for the SAD as traffic cop but he quit. He used to have a column called the Towne Crier in the Gray News but he quit doing that. A good reporter shouldn't quit things so much, he would have more credibility if he stuck to something for a while. Readers look at quitters as flighty and unreliable, and don't trust their reporting.

I agree, Nathan Tsukroff is a crybaby quitter, is unreliable, and plus, his writing is boring. I suggest he moves on the 49th state.

I tend to find people who move around a lot as less credible. Didn't Nathan say he used to work for a paper in CT? or MA? I wonder how long he lasted there...and why he left. Quitters never win.

Nathan Tsukroff certainly is a 'mystery'!! He is among several 'quitters' in this Town. It appears when their Lies and Deceptions are discovered..they Bail. For whatever their reasons, Gray will be Better Off! We are finally restoring Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, and Credibility...I for one am extremely grateful for this!!

Nathan seems to take it upon himself to speak for the "town". And he takes things personally. Ultimately, it's not "his" newspaper, just as in reality it isn't "his" town. He calls it home, but he doesn't own it. He has to share it and sometimes you get the big piece and sometimes you don't. I doubt people who are productive are too focused on this stuff... I better get off here before my boss gets back! LOL.

Before you knock Nathan, perhaps you should walk a mile in his shoes. Anybody know anything about having a permanently disabled child? He and his wife do a wonderful job with their boy and they run their business efficiently enough to make a living. Do we really, really, care about the rest?

He absolutely does not escape accountability because he has a handicapped child.
Everyone has something going on in their lives, where people should walk a mile. Big deal. It's life. In my book, it's what you do in your life that counts.
In his public persona Nathan is in a profession where there are standards. He has failed those standards. This blog is about the Gray News, the people who work for the Gray News, and the ways they have failed the community by choosing not to adhere to simple standards, truth, ethics, and incorruptability.
So if we take your logic, because Nathan has a handicapped son, it's ok to lie.

Yes, it's wonderful that Nathan runs a business where he can make an efficient living (but isn't he stll with Maine Med, too?) and it's wonderful that he is a good father (aren't people supposed to be good fathers?)
But in his reporting, he should be a model to his son. Not a liar and a bully.

Sure, it is! Janet Neal commented on that. A press release was sent to The Gray News. It ended up on BWG within a couple of hours. It wasn't sent to Paul proudian. It wasn't sent to Nathan Tsukroff. it was sent to the paper. So, with no doubt: it's the Gray News Blog.

Nathan and/or Paul are connected to The Gray News, and Janet's example is a perfect display of that. How could a press release for The Gray News get on the BWG blog in just a few hours? That information was not sent to them, but to the paper. Nathan and/or Paul saw it directly, or someone inappropriately gave them that information. If they saw it directly, then they're obviously connected directly to The Gray News. If someone in The Gray News gave it to them, then they still have connections, even if they're not firsthand. The first scenario makes them liars, because they deny being connected to The Gray News. The second scenario makes them and those who helped them just plain awful. To think that something submitted to The Gray News will not be treated respectfully and properly? To think of the kinds of hands it so carelessly (and unrightfully) gets put into? To think of where the information might show up (a nasty blog, for example)? Any information submitted to that paper is obviously not private, or respected, and that press release is just the example. All information sent to that paper might as well be sent to Nathan and Paul themselves so that they can post it for the public on their blog, and insult it and all the people associated with it. The Gray News is a disgrace, and they should be utterly ashamed of themselves for engaging in such immortal and disgusting behavior. They used to be so much better than that.
